Malaysia Telecommunications Operator Project
Location: Malaysia
Project Date: 2022
Application: Network Communication
Project Background
This project involves the establishment of a cutting-edge network infrastructure for a leading telecommunications operator in Malaysia. With the rapid growth in mobile data consumption and the ongoing deployment of 5G technology, the need for a more robust and scalable core network became crucial. The primary objective of the project was to enhance network reliability and ensure seamless communication services across both urban and rural areas.
Key Features
- Core Network Infrastructure: The project included the installation of high-capacity ITC equipment in multiple locations, ensuring the operator could handle increasing data traffic volumes efficiently. The core network infrastructure was designed to support high-speed data transmission and low-latency connections, vital for the rollout of 5G services.
- Energy-Efficient Cooling Systems: Given the hot and humid climate of Malaysia, the project focused on implementing energy-efficient cooling solutions. Advanced precision air conditioning and natural ventilation systems were deployed to ensure optimal performance of the servers and other communication equipment while minimizing energy consumption.
- Power Redundancy and Backup Systems: To address the risk of power outages, the facility was equipped with a dual UPS power system and backup generators. This redundancy ensures continuous network operations even during grid failures, safeguarding against potential service interruptions.
- Future-Ready Infrastructure: The project was designed with scalability in mind, allowing for future upgrades and the integration of new technologies, such as IoT and AI-driven network management. The modular setup of the ITC equipment allows for easy expansion without requiring major structural changes.
